Hello, My name is Julianna Bebarta. I am a junior at San Ramon Valley high school.  My vision with this program is to create bridges across generations.  Because of COVID-19 many senior citizens are alone and unable to socialize.  With this program, high-school students will play music and interact with seniors virtually.  For those seniors who are able and willing, we will also teach how to use Facebook, so they can connect with family and friends.  

Volunteers will play music for approximately 30 minutes, once a week.  We may do multiple meetings which could also include an introduction to Facebook.  We’ll schedule a time that works for both the senior and the student.  If a senior wants to learn Facebook, the student will teach them how to connect with family and friends and also how to use Facebook Live to listen to music and concerts.  All sessions with be virtual, using Zoom.

I hope this program brightens the day of both our senior citizens and our high school students!
